Classic Underground House by Peter Brown is a proper toolbox for that deeper, groove-led house sound. The drums have a nice swing and weight to them, and the loops give you enough movement without filling every bit of the frequency spectrum. There’s plenty of stuff here that I’d happily chop, layer, resample, or run through my own processing chain.

The main thing I like is how usable the sounds are straight out of the box while still leaving room to put your own stamp on them. Good source material for building grooves, working on arrangements, or adding some character to an existing track.
